Stone House at Stirling Ridge Wedding

Tis the season to play catch up! Lets take a moment to reminisce on those warmer, sunny days by sharing Joanna and Greg’s Stone House at Stirling Ridge Wedding! I’m in awe of this wedding as it was beautifully styled and Joanna and Greg were the absolute sweetest couple to work with! Joanna wore a beautiful lace Gown by KittyChen Couture and her Bridesmaids stood by her in mismatched BHLDN dresses! I LOVED this combo!

How did you two meet and fall in love?

We actually met doing a community theater show. Greg was very hesitant because “showmances” rarely had a good outcome. I was also going back to school at the end of the summer. We clearly hit it off by decided it would be better to go our own ways once I went back to school. Well that did not go as planned and we talked every single day and went out when I came home for breaks. Finally, about 8 months later, I slipped and said “I love you” and when he said it back I knew in my heart that this was forever.

What was most important to you when planning your wedding?

We really wanted our wedding to emanate who we are as people. We wanted the day to be filled with joy and love and for everyone invited to have the night of their life. Our expectations were met and then some!

What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

Our wedding theme was a combination of “whimsical” and “fairytale” with a slight touch of Disney. With Disney being a big part of both of our families lives, from vacations to working for them to loving the messages they promote, I knew it wouldn’t be our wedding without having some of those touches. It was so much fun adding them in.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding?

Our favorite memory has been the first look. But mostly the fact that the whole bridal party was together for the first time and the feeling of love that greg and I had was magnified by all of our friends and siblings being there. It was an amazing and indescribable moment.

How will you describe the feeling you had on your wedding day to your children one day?

We will most likely describe it as joyful and unforgettable and truly the best day ever.
